We joined the church!

Rich and I finally have a church to call home, and we could not be more excited!  After meeting many new friends, attending lots of sermons, and a whole lot of prayers...we have finally joined the First Baptist Church of Opelika.  Not only is this the church where Rich was baptized, but we love everything about the church.  I leave church on Sunday looking forward to going back the next week!  We also feel it will be the perfect place to raise Charlie!  Of course we did not manage to get a family picture, but we did take a few of Charlie and I when we got home!

And even though our team is not having the best season...we love them anyway!

Three months old!

I turned 3 months old on Friday, August 13.  I love music and dancing!  I love my play mats, and I love to make the monkey dance at Gertsy's and the octopus dance at home.  I think it is so funny when mom and dad blow air in my face.  I also try to make any sounds that they make!  I also love to hold moms hand!  I am sleeping through the night on a regular basis.  I look forward to eating a little bit of rice cereal in my night time bottle.  I still love to be outside!  I LOVE my baths.  I even giggle and laugh continuously when I can make the water splash!  I have the perfect life!

Date Night

Rich and I headed to Callaway Gardens this past Saturday night for a quick getaway.  We have not been back since we got married there three years ago.  We had so much fun!  We stayed at the Lodge and Spa, which is where we stayed on our wedding night.  Even though it rained most of the time, we were still able to ride bikes, swim, and just RELAX!  I am pretty sure Charlie did not mind our quick getaway, because he got to have a sleepover with his best friend Reese.  Special thanks to Lofton and Elizabeth for keeping Charlie.  We love you both so much!

Will's Graduation!

With very mixed emotions, we watched Will graduate from college yesterday.  We are so proud of him!  He has worked so hard over the past couple of years, and we were very excited to share this special day with him.  However, this means that it is time for Will to move on.  He is leaving us, and moving to Nashville.  We are going to miss him so much!  Will is like a little brother to me.  He has always been so sweet and thoughtful...and Charlie is in LOVE with him.  He thinks Uncle Will is hilarious!  Will, we love you very much and we wish you the best of luck in everything you do!
