She's Finally Finished!

Katie P finished taking the bar today!  We are sooo proud of her.  She has poured her heart and soul into law school, and it has really paid off!  I have not gotten to spend "real" time with her in three years!  I have missed her...but now she is back.  We know you did a GREAT job!  Come and visit us soon!

2 month check-up!

Here are his Stats:
Height: 23 1/4, 50th percentile
Weight: 13 pounds 2 ounces, 75th percentile
Head:  16 1/2, 90th percentile (thank you Hamrick clan)
Charlie had his 2 month check-up today (he will actually be 10 weeks on Friday though).  He had no idea that he was on his way to receive four shots.  He smiled the entire time, until the first needle went into that pudgy little leg, and it was downhill from there.  He is such an angel.  He smiles constantly.  He talks to anybody that will talk to him.  He tries so hard to mimic any face that you make, especially his daddies.  He is so alert and loves looking around.  He has found his hands, and loves to put them in his mouth!  He has realized that his tongue moves, so he sticks it out constantly.  He still LOVES to be outside.  He loves the water.  He loves moving and swinging.  He loves music.  He is truly the perfect baby.  I still love him more and more every day.  I mean how could you not love this face...

Best Friends!

Elizabeth and I always knew that our boys would be best friends...and Reese has finally warmed up to "his baby."  We had dinner with Lofton and Elizabeth, and Reese wanted to keep holding Charlie.  If only they could stay this sweet forever.  If they are anything like their daddies...they will be getting each other in trouble before we know it!

We took Charlie to the pool for the first time today.  We knew he loved to take a bath...but we never knew how much he would LOVE the water. We had so much fun swimming with Ricky and Kelly!

7 weeks old in Daddy's Gown!

Charlie turned 7 weeks old on July 9.  He is actually wearing one of the gowns that Rich wore when he was little!  How Sweet!  Sorry I am just now posting pics...but I started back to work this week and things have been a little hectic!  Enjoy!

Fireworks, Fun, and Family

We headed to Dothan on Thursday to celebrate the 4th with my family.  We had such a wonderful time at the lake eating crawfish and playing in the water.  Charlie got to dip his toes in the water for the first time!  We missed Katie (studying for the bar) and Parrish (playing in a baseball tournament), but are looking forward to finally having the WHOLE family together next year!  Here are a few pictures from our trip to the lake!
