O Christmas Tree!
Picking out the perfect tree for Charlie's First Christmas! A special thank you to my sister, Katie, for putting the lights on my tree while I decorated the rest of the house! I love you!
A Point Clear Thanksgiving
I have fallen in love with Point Clear, AL. Well maybe not so much Point Clear, but the beautiful home that belongs to Rich's Aunt Monie and Uncle James. It is tucked back off scenic 98, with an infinity pool, an outdoor fireplace, and a deck that sits right on the creek. The house is full of art, fine wine, and interesting pieces from around the world. LOTS of character! It quickly became my favorite place to "escape." Uncle James is an amazing cook, and the company is always delightful. I was so excited to share this experience with Charlie for his first Thanksgiving. And...28-27... the score of the Alabama/Auburn game... just made the weekend that much more special. WAR EAGLE!

Not Slowing Down
Things have not slowed down at the Hamrick house in the past few weeks. We have bought a new car, a new fence, and spent every weekend cheering on our Auburn Tigers! Charlie is ALL OVER THE PLACE! Trying to crawl must have been to frustrating for him, because he rolls to get to his destination. If he sees something he wants, he just starts rolling until he gets there. When I say roll, I mean he rolls like a log...or like you are rolling sideways down a hill at the golf course. I laid him on the floor in our bedroom the other morning while I was getting ready. I looked over at him and he had rolled about 6 feet to get a sock, and then he rolled right back to the spot I laid him in. Trickery??? I see that sock in your hand Charlie! His personality has really started to shine in the past few weeks also. The smallest things make him laugh so hard, and he has decided that he loves to squeal. He will start bouncing so fast in his jumper and squeal with excitement. He is going to be loud just like his daddy! Rich and I are having so much fun watching him grow up!

The Peanut Festival...a family tradition!
When I was growing up, my dad took us to the National Peanut Festival every year. I still love the Peanut Festival! You cannot attend the fair without a corn dog from the corn dog man, a bag of boiled peanuts, a stop at the greasy pig races, and a ride on the ferris wheel. I am very grateful that Charlie is not interested in winning a Goldfish just yet! I will take Charlie to the fair every year and keep the family tradition alive!
My Little Lion
Last Tuesday night, we went to the Opelika Fall Festival with some of our best friends (the Beasleys and the Williams.) Charlie was the cutest little lion I have ever seen.
